Deputy Vice Chancellor’s Office (Research and Innovation) in collaboration with Nadicorp Holdings Sdn. Bhd. Through the Endowment Fund Development program to ensure the entrepreneurial agenda of University Malaysia Kelantan can be achieved. This program is led by the Global Entrepreneurship Research and Innovation Center where GERIC is the driver of this program. Endowment Funds are introduced in tandem with the wishes of Nadicorp Holdings Sdn. Bhd which wants to help develop entrepreneurs from those who need help especially in the state of Kelantan.
This endowment financing or also known as microcredit is used to fund entrepreneurial activities that can supplement their income through loans provided to help increase sales revenue and diversify their products under their own brand. The main objective of this endowment financing is long-term entrepreneurial development planning that will help reduce the number of people still in poverty.
In addition, endowment funding also helps entrepreneurs in providing business facilities to increase the number and increase the level of Bumiputera Entrepreneurs in the small and medium sized industrial and commercial sectors. The Entrepreneur Development Endwomen Program aims to help entrepreneurs increase product production as well as guide selected entrepreneurs by organizing entrepreneurial workshops to be organized by the GERIC. In addition, successful entrepreneurs under the Endwomen Program will guide UMK graduates in the real world of business.
