GERIC KEY FUNCTIONS

• To plan, coordinate and implement research in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation and socioeconomic development, in alignment with the Research, Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (R.I.C.E.) ecosystem, the UMK Strategic Plan and national development agendas.

• To manage and strengthen scholarly publications, case studies, books, research reports and the UMK Business Review (UBR) platform to enhance research impact and knowledge dissemination.
• To plan and implement training, capacity-building and knowledge transfer programmes in the areas of research, innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialisation.
• To provide consultancy services, expertise and research-based solutions to industry, government agencies and communities.
• To generate income through research, professional training, consultancy, publications, commercialisation and the organisation of high-impact programmes.
• To strengthen strategic networks and collaborations with universities, industry, government agencies, professional bodies and international partners to expand cooperation in research, innovation and knowledge transfer.
